Lucas Bi

Lucas Bi

Lucas Bi is an alum of the NYU Tandon MS in Financial Engineering class of 2019. He is currently working at PayPal as Senior Data Scientist. His daily work mainly focuses on creating various strategies based on customer data to fight against fraudulent activities. Before joining PayPal, he was Senior Manager of Market Risk Oversight Group at American Express. He was responsible for oversight of the Treasury’s multiple functions and providing analytical challenges and regulatory insights.


Lin Qian

Lin Qian

After graduating from the NYU Tandon Financial Engineering program in 2017, Lin began his career in the interest rate derivatives Model Validation team at J.P.Morgan. He later moved to Societe Generale’s Quantitative Research and Development division, mainly for equity derivatives and hybrids. Lin has been mainly exposed to different modeling issues for vanilla and exotic businesses. Lin has most recently accepted an offer to join UBS’ equity derivatives division in early February.


Igor Tsukerman

Igor TsukermanIgor Tsukerman co-founded Eureka Wealth Solutions, a hybrid financial service firm that specializes in thematic and impact investing, in 2015. He is currently CEO and Chief Investment Officer.  He previously co-founded Passed Pawn Capital asset management firm and was a portfolio manager for long/short equity hedge fund.  Prior to that, he spent seven years of his 25-year career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as head of Emerging Markets Fixed Income Quantitative Development and as Rates Quantitative Analyst. Previously, Igor Tsukerman headed a proprietary equity trading technology team at JP Morgan Chase. He also held leadership roles in two startup technology companies, as well as various positions throughout the financial services industry.

Igor Tsukerman received a Masters of Financial Engineering from New York University Tandon School of Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Cornell University. He holds a CQF designation and is also a contributor to Seeking Alpha, Forbes, and BrightTalk.


Weiyu Wan

Weiyu WanWeiyu Wan is a Quantitative Developer, Director of Institutional Trading at BlockFi Inc. in New York City. Weiyu works on implementing E-trading platforms and designing execution algorithms for cryptocurrency trading. Before joining BlockFi inc, Weiyu worked as a Quantitative Analytics Developer at Barclays. 

Weiyu received an MS in Financial Engineering from NYU Tandon School of Engineering and an MS in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology.
