Carlos Saddy

Carlos Alexandre Vieira Saddy Torres de Medeiros (Carlos Alexandre Saddy) is a rising senior majoring in Civil Engineering and minoring in Mathematics and Structural Engineering. Originally from Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, he enjoys walking around NYC—especially when he comes across a construction site! He also loves playing soccer in Manhattan and around Tandon, as well as discovering new restaurants and coffee shops throughout the city. Carlos is a student member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), and Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA). He also serves as the Secretary of the NYU DBIA Student Chapter. Throughout his academic journey, PTC has been an incredible place for Carlos to learn and grow, where he has received support and guidance from its tutors. This experience has inspired him to become part of the PTC family and help other students navigate and make the most of their own academic journeys.
