Wearable Art and Design (Launching Fall '24)
-
Explore experimental fabrication techniques to produce a one-of-the-kind wearable artwork, for entry into the international World of Wearables competition.
The World of Wearable Art Competition (WOW) provides a platform for fabricators and designers from all over the globe to showcase their work. This competition celebrates the intersection of design, art, costume, engineering, and circus. This VIP Team brings students together from multi-disciplinary backgrounds to create a unique wearable art piece. The project aims to foster collaboration across disciplines and explore fabrication processes using soft goods and rapid digital prototyping, as well as interactive electronics.
