NYU RoboSub
-
A team comprised of determined engineering participating in a RoboNation competition to design and construct an innovative Autonomous Underwater Vehicle
Members will create and work on an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) that utilizes computer vision and various sensors to guide itself and complete various tasks determined by the RoboSub competition organizers each year. We immerse ourselves with the design of the AUV through mechanical, electrical, and computer science disciplines including underwater build design, power management, and computer vision.
Goals
- Compete in the international annual RoboSub competition
- Create an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV)
- Complete a series of tasks, incorporating computer vision, mechanical design, and electrical engineering
- Document and showcase on work produced through creation of a team website, a technical design report (TDR), and a social media presence
