Students will have the opportunity to research the usage of various materials and their application to building and designing real-world systems. This includes how material properties impact design, various methods of manufacturing, composite-based structures, and applying new fabrication processes to design. Teams have the freedom to focus on environmentally friendly designs and use a variety of materials including carbon fiber.
