THIS WEEKEND, HELP COME UP WITH CREATIVE SOLUTIONS TO COMBAT EBOLA

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has challenged the public on openIDEO, an online platform for innovation, to come together and tackle the Ebola epidemic through brainstorming and developing innovative solutions. Anyone with ideas may contribute to “Fighting Ebola: A Grand Challenge for Development,” which poses the question: How might we rapidly equip and empower the care community to fight Ebola?
So far, there are already over 350 contributions to the research and over 400 innovative ideas submitted by the public, and NYU is building teams and preparing for its very own submissions.
