Two Santa Barbara teams qualify for final round of hacking competition


Two teams from Santa Barbara will compete in the final round of NYU-Poly's Cybersecurity Awareness Week in November.

13,500 students and professionals from around the world competed in a 72-hour hacking competition, and the top 15 are moving on to the finals.

Four students from UCSB and four students from Dos Pueblos High School in Goleta are set to compete. The team from Dos Pueblos High School was the first high school team to ever score high enough to move on to the finals.
