Three Named To Top Leadership Posts In Mount Vernon

Daniel P. Jones to serve as the Commissioner of the Buildings Department. Jones comes to City Hall with more than 25 years of experience in the utilities, engineering, and construction industries, as well as related fields. His extensive technical and management background includes jobs at Consolidated Edison, General Electric, PSEG/PSEGLI, and the New York City Department of Environmental Protection. Jones received his Bachelor's and Master's of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York University [now the NYU Tandon School of Engineering].
