Second Half Falter Leads to Loss for Men's Hoops

BROOKLYN, NY-  The NYU-Poly men's basketball team hosted Sage Colleges for a Skyline Conference on Thursday night. After a tight first half, NYU-Poly succumbed to the Gators second half offense resulting in the conference win for Sage, 77-58. Sage improves to 9-10 overall and 7-8 in the league. The Fighting Blue Jays drop to 0-19 overall and 0-15 in the league, with a 28 –game losing streak dating back to last year.

Senior Jason Buckner (Littleton, CO) led NYU-Poly with 12 points while senior Alex Westphal (Port Washington, WI) and Eric Southworth (Dutch Harbor AK) added 11 each.

NYU-Poly is back in action as they travel to Yeshiva University on Sunday night for a conference matchup at 8:00pm.
