PolyBOTS Make an Impact
Polytechnic's PolyBOTS,
a student club, conducted a month long series of weekend robotics
workshops for secondary school students and teachers to help them
prepare for the upcoming FIRST Lego League and FIRST Robotics Competitions. New York City's FIRST Lego League
event will take place on January 28-29 and the First Robotics
Competition on March 23-25, both at Riverbank State Park in Manhattan. FIRST
(For Inspiration and Recognition in Science and Technology) is a
national organization created by the inventor, Dean Kamen, to excite
young people about science and technology.
