Rosa Oppenheim, a three-time graduate of Polytechnic University, assumed the role of acting dean of Rutgers Business School (RBS) on June 14, 2006.

Rosa Oppenheim has been a member of the RBS faculty for over 30 years and is currently a professor of management science and information systems. She is a co-author of Quality Management, now in its third edition, and of Stat City: Understanding Statistics Through Realistic Applications, and has authored journal articles on total quality management, time series analysis and forecasting, the mathematical analysis of literary style and integer programming. She has provided executive training for many corporations and has won numerous teaching awards.

Oppenheim earned a B.S. in chemical engineering, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in operations research from Polytechnic. She also holds an M.A. in English from Rutgers University, Newark.
