Mount Saint Mary Defeats Jays

Men's Basketball Falls to 0-10


BROOKLYN, NY - The NYU-Poly men's basketball team played stride for stride with Mount Saint Mary for the first 15 minutes of Thursday night's Skyline Conference matchup. But a key 8-0 run late in the first half pushed the Knights to a 40-28  halftime lead and they never looked back. Mount Saint Mary shot 65% in the second half en route to a 93-53 win over the Jays. 

Mount Saint Mary improves to 8-4 (6-1 Skyline), while NYU-Poly falls to 0-10 (0-7 Skyline).

The Jays were led by senior Jason Buckner (Littleton, CO) who paced NYU-Poly with 15 points, while junior John Martin (Brooklyn, NY) added 13 points.  The Knights Joe Stabach led all scorers with 18. Thirteen different players made it into the scoring column for the Mount.

NYU-Poly will travel to Stevenson University on Saturday for a non-conference double-header.
