Get ready for the robo elf.
A festive humanoid will help Santa Claus kick off the holiday season on Monday at MetroTech Commons.
Caesar — an acronym for Cellularly Accessible Expressive Semi-Autonomous Robot — and the jolly fat man will throw the switch during the 25th-annual Christmas tree lighting.
The festivities begin at 5 p.m. near the intersection of Jay and Willoughby Sts.
Along with Santa’s high-tech little helper, who was born out of the NYU Mechatronics Lab, performers from Big Apple Circus and the American Ballet Theatre Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School will entertain the crowd.
