Mayor unveils expert panel to evaluate alternate BQE proposals


The panel includes Kaan Ozbay, a Professor of Civil and Urban Engineering and Director of C2SMART and Mitchell Moss, an Affiliated Professor of Civil and Urban Engineering at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering.

The city has formed a panel of experts to sift through the multitude of alternative proposals to fix the ailing Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, Mayor Bill de Blasio announced Wednesday.
