Jays Cruise Past Puchase in Men's Volleyball

BROOKLYN, NY -   The NYU-Poly men's volleyball team had a slow start Monday night in their Skyline Conference match against Purchase College. But, after that it was all  Jays, as they racked up win number six on the season with a 3-0 win over the Panthers. The Jays won by scores of 25-21, 25-12, and 25-20.  NYU-Poly is now 6-15 on the season.

Freshmen Fild Kroqi (Bronx, NY) led the way with eight kills, followed by junior Joe Gabor (Warwick, NY) added six more.  Senior James Lukban (Bronx, NY) paced the Jays with 22 assists, while senior Tom Poppenberg (Springville, NY) led the charge on the floor with 12 digs.

Tomorrow, Lukban and Poppenberg will be honored at Senior Night when the Jays host Yeshiva University in Jacobs Gymnasium.
