Husband Blames Officials for Crash That Killed His Wife as She Crossed Harrisburg Street
Professor Kaan Ozbay, director of C2SMART said lowering the speed limit and adding speed bumps would reduce the chance of crashes on Harrisburg's Front Street, a four-lane, 40-mph road where a pedestrian was killed in a marked crosswalk in August. "Ideally, both local and state governments, depending on their jurisdiction, would work together to try different solutions," Ozbay said. "Because while accidents are highly random events, the fact that it was a fatal one is very concerning."
