Gabor's late goal sends Poly to OT with Old Westbury

Old Westbury, NY-  The NYU-Poly men's soccer team rallied behind a second half, game-tying goal by sophomore Joe Gabor(Warwick, NY), but fell in overtime, as the Panthers scored in the 95th minute to post the 2-1 win, Tuesday evening at Panther Park.  With the win, Old Westbury improves to 7-5 on the season and 3-1 in Skyline Conference action while the Fighting Blue Jays fall to 5-7 and 1-2, respectively.

Onur Kahveci , put home the game winner at the 95:03.  Senior Edwin Mejia (Uniondale, NY) sent a cross from the right side to Kahveci, who sent a header to the back of the net, beating keeper Rob Petri (St Louis, MO) for his first goal of the season.
