Escudero Named Skyline Rookie of the Week

CLIFTON PARK, NY -   Freshmen forward Marcel Escudero (Maywood, NJ) has been named Skyline Conference Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week for the week of September 27th. Polytechnic Institute of NYU recorded earned victories over Old Westbury and NYU-Poly - two teams previously unbeaten in conference play. Escudero figured in both goals against Old Westbury with a goal and an assist. He also added an assist in a 2-0 win at Maritime. Escudero currently leads the Skyline with eight assists, while ranking third in the conference with 18 points. But, more impressively, he ranks 4th in the nation in assists in all of Division 3.
