Baseball Ends Non-Traditional With Win

BROOKLYN, NY - The NYU-Poly baseball team concluded its fall season with a 10-1 win over the Borough of Manhattan Community College. NYU-Poly actually trailed 1-0 until the 6th inning when Sophomore Jeremy Silva (Brooklyn, NY) walked, stole second and third base, and then scored on a wild pitch to tie the game. Blue Jays pitching was solid as starter Nate Albers threw three scoreless innings followed by strong relief performances by Chris Conroy, Joseph Pena, and Julian Santulli. The team defense was flawless, allowing no errors in the contest. Leading the way in the 10-hit performance was Cesar Murillas, Mike Ritzzo, and Anthony Finch.
