Professor Elza Erkip is at the forefront of NYU WIRELESS, a research centre at the Polytechnic School of Engineering at New York University. The centre recently hosted the second Brooklyn 5G Summit alongside Nokia Networks, and Erkip was on hand to speak about what the annual forum is all about.

What is the purpose of the summit and what did it hope to achieve?
The Brooklyn 5G Summit is an invitation-only event co-sponsored by Nokia Networks and NYU WIRELESS, the world’s first academic research centre that combines wireless, computing, and medical applications under the direction of Ted Rappaport.
