Tandon Tokens Swag Closet

At the Office of Student Leadership and Engagement, we aim to support your professional growth and development throughout your journey at Tandon. To encourage you to get engaged with all the opportunities we have to offer here at Tandon, we have created the Tandon Tokens program. For every program or activity you complete from our continuously updated list of Tandon Tokens qualifying programs — all aligned with OSL&E's Core Values — you can submit a Tandon Tokens request form. You can then use your tokens to get NYU Tandon-branded merch, available exclusively to NYU Tandon students.

1. Attend or complete an activity from our ever-growing list of Tandon Tokens qualifying programs. 
2. Complete our Tandon Tokens Request Form with the details and valid proof of activity completed. This form must be filled out with your NYU NetID email address.
3. Once submitted, you will hear back from OSL&E with approval/denial of your request within 3 - 4 business days. 
4. Upon approval, you can pick up your Tandon Tokens from the Office of Student Leadership and Engagement (5 MetroTech Center, LC 221) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 9 am - 5 pm.
5. Once you have collected enough Tandon Tokens to claim a swag item, come to the Tandon Tokens Closet located in 5 MetroTech Center, Room LC 223 on the last Thursday of every month to pick up your items.

Spring 2025 Closet Dates:

The Tandon Tokens Closet will only be open once a month on the last Thursday of every month and the entire week of Finals Study Break for the redemption of an item in the shop

January 30, February 27, March 20, April 24, and May 7-9.

What programs or activities qualify for Tandon Tokens?

Who can collect Tandon Tokens and redeem them for Tandon swag?

The Tandon Tokens program is only available for declared Tandon graduate students who are currently matriculated.

What happens if I lose a token?

Lost tokens will not be readministered — keep track of them!

Can I earn tokens from qualified programs I took before Spring 2025?

Incentives completed prior to the Spring 2025 semester will not be accepted.

Once I have my tokens, how long are they valid?

Tokens are valid until you graduate.

Can I give my tokens to another Tandon student?

No, Tandon Tokens are issued in your name and cannot be transferred to another student.

Can I purchase swag items from the Tandon Tokens Closet?

No. Items in the closet can only be obtained using tokens.
