Simon Firestone is an economist and has worked at the Federal Reserve Board, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Meta. His research on real estate, consumer finance, banking, and credit risk has been published in journals such as the Journal of Housing Economics, the International Journal of Industrial Organization, and the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking. He has a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
