Sai Qian Zhang

Sai Zhang is an assistant professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, as well as in the Computer Science Department at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. Dr. Zhang earned his Ph.D. from Harvard University in 2021 and completed both his M.A.Sc and B.A.Sc at the University of Toronto. From 2022 to 2024, Dr. Zhang worked as a senior research scientist at Meta Reality Labs.

Dr. Zhang's research interests lie in algorithm and hardware co-design for efficient deep neural network implementation, and efficient computing solutions for AR/VR.
