Badrul Husain is an entrepreneurial technology leader and adjunct professor at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. He teaches Entrepreneurship and Managing Innovation with an experiential, active learning approach that blends theory with practice. His courses draw on real-world cases from his professional background and current developments in technology and business, giving students practical insight into innovation, leadership, and the forces shaping today’s economy.

His professional experience also shapes his entrepreneurial work. He is the founder and CEO of Infolytx, an AI solutions company applying machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision to healthcare and manufacturing. Over several years, he has led initiatives at startups, Fortune 500 companies, and in the public sector — including leadership roles at Deloitte Consulting — building expertise in how organizations can harness technology for growth and transformation. His work focuses on applying technology through thoughtful product design, intuitive user interfaces, and solutions that truly meet real user needs. He emphasizes user adoption as essential to lasting success. Drawing on corporate, entrepreneurial, and global perspectives, Badrul helps organizations and students navigate the challenges of innovation.

He holds a BA from Columbia College, Columbia University and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
