About the Speaker
Dan Popadynec is a Professional Engineer and Director of New Building Enclosures at Socotec, Inc. Dan has been a key player in the design and construction of half of the tallest skyscrapers in New York City. Dan has been involved with onboarding, training and mentoring a hybrid team of Architects and Engineers (Civil, Mechanical and Materials) and he is looking forward to sharing his mid-career perspectives and insights with you. About the Moderators
Semiha Ergan is the Associate Chair of the Department of Civil and Urban Engineering at NYU Tandon School of Engineering and leading the Building Informatics and Visualization Lab - BILAB.
Jurij Paraszczak is an Executive-in-Residence at CUSP at NYU Tandon. In this role, he establishes working connections between CUSP, industries, and governments, sharing years of industry expertise and leading urban research efforts across the world. While at IBM, Jurij helped Paul Horn, a Senior Provost of Research, to create the Center for Urban Science and Progress.
