Title

"Wireless Charging of EVs - Overview, Critical Challenges and Possible Solutions"

Abstract

Wireless power transfer (WPT) technology promises a very convenient, reliable, and safe way of transferring power wirelessly. The applications of this technology are charging electric vehicles (EVs), electronic gadgets, implants, and powering LED lighting and data centers. The first part of this seminar will address WPT converters, compensations, design, and control techniques. The later part will discuss the critical progress of the WPT coil technology and associated challenges. Finally, this talk will throw some light on critical challenges that the overall WPT system is facing and the possible solutions to these challenges.
