- Can I apply to HEOP directly?
- No, all applications must be processed through the Admissions Office.
- Can I apply to HEOP as a graduate student?
- The HEOP program at NYU Tandon is only open to incoming undergraduate first-year students.
- I am already a student at NYU-Poly, is it possible for me to transfer into the HEOP program?
- No, admission to HEOP is only available to students entering college for the first time who have completed the HEOP summer program.
- I heard that there is a summer program for incoming HEOP students, is it mandatory?

- Does HEOP cover all of my educational and personal expenses?
- No, HEOP covers a significant portion of eligible students’ educational expenses. It is important that students complete the Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) applications as early as possible. Student loans are required to supplement financial aid packages.
