Tandon Consulting Club

The Tandon Consulting Club (TCC) is a student-led organization helping NYU students launch and grow careers in consulting. They bridge Tandon’s technical foundation with the problem-solving and strategy skills the industry demands, through case interview prep, career workshops, alumni panels, networking sessions, and case competitions. By collaborating directly with leading consulting firms, the club brings real-world perspectives and opportunities straight to our members. They have been recognized for Outstanding Academic Collaborations and Best New Initiative within the NYU community.

Consulting is one of the most sought-after career paths for a reason: it sharpens how you think, how you communicate, and how you solve problems that actually matter. TCC helps you build the edge to break into this competitive industry. You build real skills through case prep and competitions, connect with alumni and professionals who have been where you want to go, and find a community of peers just as committed to their career journey. What you leave with is not just interview prep. It is a real understanding of the consulting landscape and the toolkit to navigate it.

TCC members recently visited Capgemini's New York office for a day of industry insight and professional connection. The event featured two panel discussions: one with senior firm leaders sharing their perspectives on consulting and careers, and another with early-career employees giving an honest look at their day-to-day work. The event wrapped up with open networking, giving members the chance to have real one-on-one conversations with the Capgemini team. Club members left with new contacts, fresh perspectives, and a clearer picture of what a consulting career actually looks like.

The TCC program is open to all NYU students regardless of background or prior knowledge of consulting. The program runs year-long and kicks off each Fall, though students who start in the Spring are welcome to join at that time as well.
