Students developed a business plan for a new venture entity to serve as an assisted living locator, helping clients to navigate and arrange placements for relatives with local assisted living facilities and guiding clients to facilities that meet their needs. Students worked on objectives including, decreasing the feelings of being overwhelmed and/or stressed by seniors and their families when exploring/considering assisted living; increasing client satisfaction with assisted living choices made by providing personalized assessment and matching, building on existing relationships with clients so that they feel supported (rather than passed around), and developing a reliable stream of income to be funneled into existing programs.
