NYWEA Student Club
NYWEA is an organization of water quality professionals founded in 1929 to serve the public interest by promoting sustainable water quality management through science, education, and training. Members include civil and environmental engineers, biologists, chemists, local and state government officials, treatment plant managers and operators, laboratory technicians, students, professors, lawyers, environmental scientists, equipment manufacturers, and distributors.
The NYU NYWEA Student Chapter is active in hosting a number of activities including field trips, career fairs, charitable events. and research seminars
NYWEA is a Member Association of the international Water Environment Federation.
