Global Challenge: Sustainability in Urban Environments

As a leader, it's a major responsibility on your shoulders to practice the behavior you want others to follow."

Bio:

I’m a junior at NYU Tandon School of Engineering majoring in Business and Technology Management with a minor in Mathematics. I’m Chinese Indonesian, but I grew up in Shanghai my whole life so I love big metropolitan cities like New York because of the food, city lights, and busy life.

At Tandon, I have been a part of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) E-board, participated in VIP Digital Media Intellect as well as NYU Motorsports, and joined Theta Tau Professional Engineering Fraternity. Theta Tau has provided me with significant professional mentorship, a tight-knit community, and many chances to exercise my collaboration and leadership skills. Coming from an entrepreneurial family background, I hope to work on my own innovative startup related to solving UN challenges like building sustainable cities/communities and or advocating for responsible consumption and production through digital platforms and artificial intelligence.

Some of my hobbies include going to the gym, reading, watching movies, watching broadway shows, dancing hip-hop, playing guitar, and singing. A fun-fact about me is I’ve dyed my hair 7 times, I don’t know how many times it’ll be by the time you’re reading this.
