Global Challenge: Engineering of Medication

As a global leader, I would undertake the responsibility of using the resources in my possession to formulate solutions for the problems that challenge the world today.”

Bio:

I am a second-year student at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, studying Biomolecular Science. After moving to the United States from India at a young age, I was raised in Yonkers, NY before attending college. As a high school student, I held leadership positions at my school’s science olympiad and engineering construction teams. My involvement in these clubs and additional synthetic biology workshops outside of school have only reinforced my commitment to pursuing a career at the intersection of engineering and medicine. As a passionate writer, I am also a member of the writing team for NYU’s Medical Dialogue Review magazine club. Every semester, the club publishes a magazine that highlights stories in the fields of science, medicine, public health, and the humanities. Outside of academics, I enjoy dancing, playing badminton, and spending time with my family and friends.
