Global Challenge: Data Science/AI/Robotics and Cybersecurity

As I look to the future, I am excited about the potential of technology to create positive change in the world... I believe that it is essential for engineers to understand the social implications of their work and to prioritize ethical considerations in their decision-making. I particularly am interested in automation as its future of it can play a significant factor in changing many lives.

Bio:

I am a rising sophomore at NYU Tandon pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering. Originally from Long Island, I have embarked on an exciting journey by moving to the bustling city of New York, which has been nothing short of transformative and exhilarating.

At NYU, I have actively engaged myself in cultural associations, including the Indian Cultural Club and the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE).  Additionally, I have participated in the New York Machine Learning Club and the Osiris Lab, where I honed my skills and knowledge in my field. This upcoming semester, I will also be taking on the role of an Undergraduate Orientation Leader, guiding and supporting new students.

Reflecting on my first year at NYU Tandon, I am grateful for the profound experiences that have shaped both my academic and personal growth. As I look forward, I am enthusiastic about embracing challenges, expanding my knowledge, and forging meaningful connections within the dynamic GLASS community.

Beyond academics and work, I find joy in staying active through workouts, sports, and expressing my creativity in the kitchen through cooking and baking.
