Global Challenge: Data Science/AI/Robotics, Sustainability, Health, and Urban

I believe that engineering principles are growing to embody the core of innovation, sustainability, healthcare, and economics. Being a member of the Global Leaders and Scholars in STEM will allow me to utilize my technical interests for greater causes.

Bio:

I am a rising sophomore majoring in computer science at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. Born and raised in New York City, I have been exposed to diversity in every sense of the word. I also grew up very closely tied to my cultural roots in Lebanon.

At NYU, I am a member of the machine learning team of the Urban Microclimate Vertically Integrated Project. I am also the treasurer of the NYU Lebanese Club. During the summer, I worked as a STEM leader at NYU’s Center for K12 STEM Education. Starting in the fall, I will be working as a teaching assistant for NYU’s General Engineering Department. Despite the technical knowledge I have gained at NYU, the true value of my experiences has come from the many people that I have met throughout my journey.

Aside from my academic and professional pursuits, I enjoy both playing and watching soccer during my free time.
