Applied Urban Science Association (AUSA)
The Applied Urban Science Association (AUSA) is a graduate student-led organization recognized by NYU Tandon’s Office of Student Leadership and Engagement at the Center for Urban Science + Progress (CUSP) at NYU Tandon.
The association brings together students who are passionate about urban science, data-driven decision-making, and the future of cities.
AUSA is committed to building a strong and inclusive student community by fostering collaboration, peer support, and shared learning experiences. It also plays a key role in bridging students with professional networks by connecting them with industry leaders, researchers, and alumni through events, panels, and networking opportunities.
Through workshops, speaker series, and partnerships, AUSA creates spaces where students can engage with real-world urban challenges, develop practical skills, and exchange ideas across disciplines. By linking data, design, and policy, the organization aims to support more sustainable, equitable, and resilient urban environments while empowering students to grow both academically and professionally.
