The NSF-GRFP award will be supplemented in years two-four by the advisor or department.

Teaching Assistantships

A SoE Fellowship recipient may teach in their department for extra compensation at the discretion of the Department Chair. The amount of compensation will depend on the specific assignment, the number of contact hours, and the applicable pay schedule set forth in the collective bargaining agreement between NYU and Local 2110, UAW. For more information about available teaching assistantships, students should consult with their  department chair upon arrival on campus.
