Abhijit is the Director of the Cyber Fellows program at Tandon School of Engineering. Abhijit holds an undergraduate degree in Instrumentation Engineering and two Master's degrees. One in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Rutgers University and the other in Cybersecurity from NYU. His career, prior to joining Tandon, has revolved around designing and developing software for the Telecom and Fin Tech industries. In the Telecom sector he was involved with developing data communication protocols for the Intelligent Service Control Point network used in telephony. In Fin Tech he was associated with Risk Technology, designing and developing software for Credit and Liquidity Risk Management for a banking giant. His special interest in application security and other aspects of defensive security led to his Master's degree in Cybersecurity from NYU. He is a pragmatic leader with sharp analytical skills having delivered mission critical solutions to industry leaders such as AT&T Bell Labs, Bellcore and JPMorgan Chase.
