Access to Primary Care Physicians in New York is limited. There is often a 3 month wait to see some primary care doctors in Brooklyn. There are many inefficiencies in the running of a physician practice with opportunities to increase throughput. This project analyzed a Primary Care Physician’s practice and included a “time-flow analysis” of the patient experience in this practice to identify the constraints and bottlenecks.
