Students worked with a company which provides medical devices to power a less invasive surgery to reduce the risk of stroke from cardiovascular disease. The company wanted to expand its overseas markets, but the staff could not scale to meet the growing market share. Students were tasked with leveraging computer vision technology to help subject matter experts interpret CT scans in order to help assess patient eligibility for the procedure.
