In order to promote direct reuse or indirect reuse of construction and demolition waste, students focused on a cost/benefit analysis tracking the expenses related to acquisition of new materials and transportation of old material to landfills. Students also mapped out the environmental harms along with the social impact of failing to recycle or upcycle the materials for building projects in NYC.
