Dissertation/Research Advisor: Constantine Kontokosta

My research focuses on both climate mitigation and adaptation in the urban context. For mitigation, I am part of the Urban Intelligence Lab at the Marron Institute where I research building energy efficiency policies like New York City’s Local Law 97. For adaptation, I am part of NOAA’s Caribbean Climate Adaptation Network where I research how governance structures impact disaster resilience. My focus with both research streams is understanding how complex science is translated into policy decisions for sustainable urban development.
