Qi is a PhD candidate in the Urban Systems program. He is interested in using different methods in the fields of urban analytics, data science, and building technology to help gain insights into various sustainability challenges in the urban environment. His current research centers on using data-driven methods for building energy modeling at the urban scale to advance sustainable urban design and planning practices.
