February 1 - March 25, 2022: Challenges submitted and Innovators apply. 10 challenges and 20 innovators (10 teams of 2) announced.

March 28 - April 28, 2022: Innovator teams get $1,000 and 1:1 mentorship to support prototyping.

April 28 - August 15, 2022: Top 3 teams announced, awarded Venture Fellowships and $15,000 to transform their solutions into venture-ready products.

August 15, 2022: Venture Fellows pitch to the NYU Entrepreneurial Institute for an additional $50,000.

Dee Dao

Dr. Dee Dao is a Venture Associate for the NYU Innovation Venture Fund, focusing on investment opportunities in healthcare. Dr. Dao has also developed products and IP strategies in therapeutics and diagnostics for Ludwig Cancer Research. 

John-Ross Rizzo

Dr. John-Ross Rizzo is an Ilse Melamid Associate Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, as well as Vice Chair of Innovation and Equity in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Insoo Suh

Dr. Insoo Suh is an Associate Professor at the Department of Surgery at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and leads the Department of Surgery program that supports the development of surgical innovations.

James Nielsen MD

Dr. James Nielsen MD is is a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics and Associate Director, Pediatric Cardiology at Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone.

Vadim Gordin

Vadim Gordin is the NYU Tandon Future Labs A/X Venture Studio Director and the NYU Tandon Entrepreneurship Competition Coordinator.
