Daniel Townsend

Danny is an urban planner, data and policy analyst, and affordable housing strategist. In his current role as Director of Strategic Planning at the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), Danny oversees NYCHA’s key transformational initiatives, including Enterprise Asset Management technology and business process innovation. Danny has a Masters in Urban Planning from Hunter College and a Bachelors in Cultural Anthropology from University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Danny is also a music producer and composer for children’s theatre and media.
