Using psychology to bolster cybersecurity
According to Associate Professor Justin Cappos, while practical applications from cyberpsychology research should appear in the marketplace within three to five years, it will not single handedly mediate cybersecurity issues. "We need more good researchers in this area of cyberpsychology. There's much potential here. It's just that it requires a mix of deep technical and psychological skills. We rarely see those skills together," advocated Cappos.
