R. Luke DuBois is a composer, conceptual artist and an associate professor at New York University’s Polytechnic School of Engineering. His art and his teaching focus on the visualization of data.
READING “Art is a Problem,” by the curator and critic Joshua Decter. It’s an anthology of essays and criticism. His reviews are very thought-provoking. I got interested in him after he reviewed a show of mine and I thought his critique was interesting. The points he made were totally legitimate and he doesn’t use the standard rhetorical babble.
