ACEC NY awards scholarships to 21 New York engineering students; Lin and Rahman recieve Award of merit scholarships
Twenty-one engineering students attending colleges and universities in NYS will receive $65,000 collectively in scholarships from member firms and regions of the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York (ACEC NY). Individual awards range from $2,500 to $7,500 and are given based on the students’ cumulative grade-point average, college activities, work experience and essays. The list includes Sam Schwartz Engineering Scholarship - $2,500, Gisselle Barrera (Civil Engineering), NYU Tandon School of Engineering, Brooklyn.
