Campus Planning

The Campus Planning team at Tandon supports the research mission of the school by prioritizing innovative, flexible, efficient, and collaborative spaces. In partnership with internal and external stakeholders we guide space allocation and steer the campus evolution through the lens of the academic and research experience.

Strategic Campus Development:

• Near and long term strategic planning for campus growth and evolution.

• Conceptual studies, project ideation, and stakeholder engagement.

• Participation in design development and construction implementation.

• Provide sketches, test-fits and other collateral for discussion and pricing.

Space Management and Utilization:

• Track departmental, existing and future faculty research space profiles.

• Understand physical needs for new research and faculty hires.

• Optimize space utilization across research portfolios.

• Ownership and stewardship of architectural backgrounds and 3D models.

Infrastructure, Capital Projects and Sustainability:

• Strategically plan and budget for capital projects and infrastructure enhancements.

• Lead sustainability initiatives to reduce the institution's environmental footprint and promote eco-friendly campus development.
