Ramin Safai is the Chief Technology Officer and Global Head of Information Security at Jefferies. In this role, Ramin is responsible for handling all of Jefferies technology infrastructure and managing the firm’s cyber security program. Prior to joining Jefferies in 2012, Ramin was Americas CISO at Barclays. For the past 20 years Ramin has worked as an Information technology officer at large banks including: Credit Suisse, Lehman Brothers, JP Morgan and Barclays. Ramin holds degrees in Electronics Engineering, Computer science and MBA from New York University.
