Keeping our smartphones and its accompanying data, including text messages and photos, is an ongoing problem. And while you can take precautions, like enabling two-factor authentication on your apps and devices, security experts are now warning of a possible new vulnerability that’s only a touch away.

Mashable reports that a new study from researchers at New York University and Michigan State University found that the increasingly common way of accessing a phone through fingerprint recognition isn’t absolutely secure.
